Warranty and care.

This page is for after a pod is delivered: the warranty, looking after a pod, and who to ask. What you buy, and on what terms, is set out in your quotation, as Terms says. This page decides none of it.

Warranty.

Ask for the warranty's terms with your quotation. Before you order, check that they answer each of these.

  • The pod's structure: what is covered, and for how long.
  • Moving parts and electrics: what is covered on the door, the fans, the light and the power, and for how long.
  • The furniture: what is covered, and for how long.
  • Conditions: who must install the pod, and whether the warranty must be registered.
  • A fault: whether it is repaired or the part replaced, and who comes.
  • Exclusions: what the warranty does not cover.
  • Claims: what to send with a claim, and how soon after you find the fault.

Perello sells to businesses and to consumers. If you buy as a consumer, the law gives you rights, free of charge, if a pod is faulty or not as described, whatever any warranty says. A warranty from Perello adds to those rights and cannot take them away.

To report a fault, write to info@perello.ie.

Care.

Before a pod is cleaned for the first time, ask us what to use on each surface and what to keep off it. These are the surfaces to ask about.

  • The powder-coated steel.
  • The tempered glass.
  • The walls inside.
  • The furniture's surfaces: White melamine-faced board · wood-grain multi-layer board · black powder coat.
  • The stools and the sofa.

Service and parts.

Before you order, check that your quotation answers each of these about the life of a pod. Each pod's fans are listed in its specification.

  • Fans: whether they need cleaning or replacing, and how often.
  • Regular service: whether a pod needs one, how often, and whether the warranty depends on it.
  • Who services a pod: who does the work, and how to arrange it.
  • Spare parts: which are kept, for how long, and how to order one.

Safety and compliance.

This page states nothing about fire, electrical safety, ventilation or accessibility. Before you order, ask which documents cover each for the pod you have in mind: a test report, a certificate or a declaration of conformity. Your building's manager and your fire officer may ask to see them.

  • Fire: how the materials are rated for fire.
  • Electrical safety: the marking the pod carries, and the standard it meets.
  • Ventilation: anything beyond the airflow in the specification.
  • Accessibility: the door's clear width, and the threshold.

Moving and end of life.

Aria stays put. Terra rolls. Ask us before a pod is moved, and check that your quotation answers each of these.

  • Moving a Terra: how to move it, and what to check once it stands again.
  • Relocating an Aria: who may take it down and build it again, and what that means for the warranty.
  • Take-back: whether Perello takes a pod back at the end of its use.
  • Recycling: what of a pod can be recycled, and how.

Rental.

Rental is quoted with the pod. Ask through Rental.

  • A rented pod: who services and repairs it, and what the rental includes.
